Our mapping services also extend to agriculture beyond crop health imaging. We assist farmers and landowners in agricultural planning by providing detailed maps for uses like field area measurement, drainage planning, and farm infrastructure mapping. For example:
If a farmer wants to install a new irrigation system or waterways, a precise elevation map from our drone can identify all the low spots and natural drainage patterns to guide design.
For large farms or cooperatives, we can map entire properties to produce farm maps showing each field’s boundaries and acreages, which is helpful for crop rotation planning and record-keeping.
Drones can also survey forestry or pasture land – generating data on tree stand density or grazing area conditions.
In these cases, we often use our DJI Mavic drones due to their agility and high-resolution cameras, and supplement with the Agras T50 for field boundary mapping if we’re already using it for spraying. The Agras T50, though primarily a sprayer, has an on-board mapping camera and can quickly scout a field to generate a basic map for planning spray routes or identifying terrain changes . This dual capability (survey + spray) allows us to service a farm comprehensively.
